This Cancellation and Refund Policy (the “Policy”) governs the provision of services and outlines the conditions under which a User may manage a purchased appointment with an Expert.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. Service: Refers to the scheduled consultation, advice, or appointment provided by an Expert.
1.2. User: The individual who purchases and receives the Service.
1.3. Expert: The specific professional engaged to provide the Service.
2. REFUND POLICY (STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE)
2.1. No Refunds: All payments made by the User for the Service are final and strictly non-refundable. Once payment is successfully processed, the transaction is considered complete, and the funds are allocated to reserve the Expert’s time.
2.2. Exceptions: Under no circumstances will the company provide a refund, credit, or exchange for a cancellation, no-show, dissatisfaction with the service outcome, or any other reason, save for the exceptional circumstance where the Expert themselves cancels the appointment without offering an alternative resolution (see Section 4.2).
3. RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
3.1. Cancellation by User: If a User chooses to cancel an appointment, they acknowledge that, in accordance with Section 2, no refund will be issued, and the fee paid will be forfeited.
3.2. Permitted Rescheduling: The User has the right to request a rescheduling of the confirmed appointment. This request must be submitted in accordance with the notice requirements outlined below.
3.3. Same Expert Requirement: Any rescheduled appointment must be conducted with the original Expert who was booked for the Service. Transferring the appointment or the payment to a different Expert is strictly prohibited.
3.4. Rescheduling Notice: To request rescheduling, the User must notify the company at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the original scheduled appointment time. Rescheduling requests submitted with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice may be denied, resulting in the forfeiture of the paid fee.
3.5. Availability: Rescheduling is subject to the original Expert’s future availability. The company does not guarantee immediate or preferred time slots for the rescheduled appointment.
4. EXPERT CANCELLATION
4.1. Expert Availability: Should the Expert be unable to fulfill the scheduled Service due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will offer the User the option to reschedule the appointment with the same Expert at a mutually convenient time.
4.2. Failure to Resolve: Only in the exceptional event that the Expert cancels and no mutually agreed-upon rescheduling time can be found, the company, at its sole discretion, may offer a credit for a future appointment, though a cash refund is still excluded by the terms of this Policy.
5. USER CONTACT AND AGREEMENT
By completing the payment for the Service, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy, including the strict non-refundable clause.
